Yay Thrift Stores!

We finally found the last piece of furniture we really needed for our apartment: a china cabinet. It took us 5 months and countless (overpriced) Craigslist pages, but we finally got one. Ben found an amazing thrift store in Norfolk. We went to check it out yesterday and they had tons of furniture (and all in pretty good condition!) It was basically a huge Goodwill, but everything was in good shape...check out our find:

Our kitchen counters used to be cluttered with lots of lovely kitchen items that we got for wedding gifts--but now they all finally have a home--and we finally have some room in the kitchen! Oh I just love decorating our home :)

We just love our little puppy!

Georgia has turned into such a good puppy. I'm so glad we got her. She's especially helpful to me whenever Ben is underway or on duty...it's just nice to have someone at home with me. The first few weeks after we got her were very stressful for me. She was pooping all over my house & we hadn't really gotten used to each other yet. Not to mention the fact that I would never be living by MY schedule anymore--but by hers. It was a really hectic time for me (as my mother or sister would tell you since I would call them crying). But you know what? Just a few short weeks later she is almost entirely potty trained and actually listens to me and Ben. It's amazing how much joy this little puppy has brought to our lives.
