Ben's Homecoming

After 6.5 months apart, Ben's ship pulled into Naval Station Norfolk 2 days before Christmas 2010. We completed our first deployment, and after going through that, we know we can accomplish anything together! My sister Katherine took some great pictures to commemorate our first reunion.

The families waiting in the tent for our sailors. It was such a cold and windy day!!

First glimpse of the ship pulling in.

I think everyone's hearts started pounding about now...

My sister (& photographer) Katherine and me

Talking to Ben- so close and yet so far.

Our first kiss in 6.5 months!

It was so great just to look at him again.

So happy to be together again!

Finally going home.
