Oops...I did it again.

Went to the tanning salon on Monday. Don't start with me on how bad tanning salons are for your skin--I know this and I believe it, and I don't plan on using them past the wedding. If you feel the need to tell me how bad they are, then you probably aren't as white as I am. Oh excuse me, I meant PALE. Just for one day I want to be a tan, healthy-looking, princess. I think you know which day I mean ;) And I will be. But for now, I'm suffering. Tanned once last week and once this week--both for only SEVEN minutes. Both times I walk out with a sunburn. Hello aloe. BFFL?

Awww you poor thing.
I'm luckly luck that i don't burn that easily. My step-mom has a tanning bed in her basement - i know right? And well the bulbs NEED to be changed but they can't figure out how to do that so i tan for a full 20 mintues and then some more... and not last time I went but like 3 times ago I fell asleep and I was not a pretty shade of RED the next day at work!!! UGH! But I agree with you... we all need a little color on our special day!

Ouch I know what you mean... I always start out at 6mins and gradually work my way up. That max I've ever stayed in is 12mins if that says anything... I don't think there is any way around coming out looking like a lobster when you've got the pale skin-freckle combo like us.

Trust me-- I TOTALLY know what you are talking about. I tanned a lot in highschool, but I didn't ever get REALLY dark... I'm slightly thinking about doing it a little bit before the wedding just to give me more of a glow, other wise I look really washed out and tired!

My hubs and I definitely tanned before our wedding haha! Shhh, don't tell. We were going to Jamaica in January and both pale Irish bodies were going to die in the sun if we didn't! Just be careful!

I went to the tanning bed before going to FL one year. It was my only successful experience with a tanning bed. I bought an unlimited visit plan for one month. I found the key to my success was less time more often. That way you wont burn but gradually get a little bit of color. By the time I went to FL, I had a LITTLE color and I did not burn from the sun.

the worst part about getting burnt in a tanning bed is the awful itching. i did it for my wedding as well--I'm also super pale. But I'm glad I did. I didn't overdo it...just enough for a nice glow. It was so worth it when those wedding photos came back.
